TOYOTA MASTER TECHNICIAN CERTIFICATION PROGRAM

The importance of well trained, efficient and technically competent Service Technicians cannot be understated.

The Toyota program consists of four levels: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum. The Bronze, Silver, and Gold certifications are valid for five (5) years from the date of issue. The Platinum certificate is valid for one (1) year from date of issue.

Bronze Level

Completion of all current Toyota Video Training Quizzes with a score of 80% or higher
Be employed by an authorized Toyota Lift Truck Dealership for at least two (2) years
Completion of the following current Toyota Training Classes:
   T140 General Product / Toyota Engines
   T200 Electrical Systems and Theory
   T250 IC Chassis Electrical Diagnosis
   T350 Hydraulic Systems / Power train
   T752 Class I Electric Truck

Silver Level

Completion of all the Bronze Level requirements
Obtain and maintain certification in at least three (3) ASE Certifications
Be employed by an authorized Toyota Lift Truck Dealership for at least three (3) years
Completion of one of the following Toyota Training Classes
   T470 Electronic Engine Control Systems
   OR
   T600 Order picker & Reach Truck

Gold Level

Completion of all the Bronze and Silver Requirements
Be employed by an authorized Toyota Lift Truck Dealership for at least five (5) years
Completion of the following Toyota Training Classes:
   T470 Electronic Engine Control Systems
   T480 Electronic Engine Control Systems II
   T600 Order picker & Reach Truck
Obtain and maintain at least three (3) additional ASE Certifications
   OR
   Attend three (3) "Hands- On" training courses:
   T375 Mast Inspection & Repair
   T385 Transmission Inspection & Repair
   T650 Class III Electric Pallet Trucks

Platinum Level
Completion of all the Bronze, Silver, and Gold level Master Technician Requirements. Eligible Technicians must complete the annual online Platinum Level Certification Test which is available for a limited time during the 4th quarter of each year. The Platinum Level will be awarded to a Gold Level Master Technician who achieves a score in the top 10 % of the total tests submitted for that year. The Platinum Level Tech is only awarded for one year; the Technician must sit for the test again each year and place in the top 10% to be awarded.

Southeast Industrial Equipment currently employees over one hundred (100) Service Technicians; our highly-trained staff includes:

      42 Bronze Level Master Technicians
      5 Silver Level Master Technicians
      15 Gold Level Master Technicians
      1 Platinum Level Master Technician

In addition to being highly trained, SIE Service Technicians are dedicated and loyal:

Five years average length of service for all technicians
Thirty-one technicians have 5-10 years of service
Twenty five technicians have >10 years of service
Fifty-six technicians have > 5 years of service
